- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
- Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
- Data Entry Operator (DEO)
- Data Entry Operator Grade ‘A’

SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ in other departments:
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
- For DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ posts in specified departments:
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board.
- Candidates whose Class 12 result is awaited may apply only if their qualifying result is declared on or before 7 October 2026.
- A result that is still under process does not meet the stated qualification condition.

Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 27 years
- Age is counted as on 1 August 2026.
- Candidates should have been born between 2 August 1999 and 1 August 2008, as per the stated age rule.
- Age relaxation is available for eligible categories according to government rules.

- SSC CHSL selection is conducted through a Computer Based Examination in two tiers.

- Total: 100 questions and 200 marks
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Negative marking: 0.50 mark for each wrong answer

- Computer Knowledge Test
- Skill Test/Typing Test, as applicable
- Candidates must qualify all required sections of Tier-II.
- There is negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Sections I and II of Tier-II.
