UKSSSC Scaler Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed Intermediate (12th) or an equivalent examination with Science or Mathematics.
• The qualification must be from a legally established Board/Council in India or a recognized school situated in Uttarakhand.
• Candidates must also meet at least one of these conditions:
  • Registered with an Employment Exchange in Uttarakhand by the last date of application; or
  • Have a Uttarakhand domicile/permanent residence certificate; or
  • Have passed High School and Intermediate, or equivalent examinations, from recognized institutions situated in Uttarakhand.
• Certain exceptions are provided in the notification for eligible military/paramilitary personnel, government employees serving in Uttarakhand and their eligible family members.
• Indian citizenship and other nationality conditions mentioned in the official notification must also be satisfied.

Physical Standards

• Male candidates: Minimum height of 163 cm and minimum 5 cm chest expansion.
• Female candidates: Minimum height of 150 cm.
• For specified Scheduled Tribe and other listed communities/regions, the minimum height is relaxed to 152 cm for males and 145 cm for females.
• Candidates with refractive error above ±4.00 diopters in normal vision will not be appointed through direct recruitment.

• Selection has two main stages:

• The final merit list is prepared using written examination marks.
