Haryana Unmarried Pension Scheme: The Haryana government has launched a new scheme to support unmarried residents of the state. This scheme has been launched by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. Under this scheme, unmarried men and women of the state will be given a pension every month, and the benefit of the pension will also be given to those whose wives die.

Objective of the Haryana Unmarried Pension Scheme
There are many people living in the state of Haryana who have not been able to get married for some reason, and now the age of marriage of such people has also passed. In such a situation, if such people do not do any work, then this scheme has been started to help them financially. Therefore, the government has launched a pension scheme with the aim of providing financial assistance to unmarried people of Haryana so that they can get some financial help in the form of a pension.
Pension Amount in Haryana Unmarried Pension Scheme
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that beneficiaries under Haryana’s old age pension currently receive Rs. 3000/- per month. This new, unmarried pension scheme might offer a similar amount. The government plans to finalise and start pension payments soon to help eligible citizens as soon as possible.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria.
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
- Only unmarried men and women aged 45 to 60 can apply.
- The benefit of this scheme will also be available to people who have become widows or widowers after marriage.
- The annual income of the person applying for the scheme should be less than 180,000.
- To avail the benefits of the Haryana Pension Scheme, it is necessary to link the applicant’s bank account with the Aadhaar Card.
How to Apply for the Haryana Unmarried Pension Scheme Online
Visit the official website of the Haryana Unmarried Pension Scheme at pension.socialjusticehry.gov.in. On the homepage, click on the Welfare Schemes option. Then, select Apply for Pension Scheme. Choose the Unmarried Pension Scheme option. Download the application form and print it out. Now fill in the application form with the correct details. Attach all required documents. Now you have to take the application form and submit it to the concerned department.
Offline Application Process
Visit the nearest Antyodaya Bhawan, Common Service Centre (CSC), or Atal Seva Kendra. Ask the officer for the unmarried pension scheme application form. The official will provide and print the form for you. Attach the required documents along with the form and pay any applicable fees. Finally, submit the form and take a receipt for future reference.

Benefits of the Haryana Unmarried Pension Scheme

How and when to get a pension in the Haryana Unmarried Pension Scheme
On the 10th of every month, the information will be given by the authority to the social justice department, after which everything will be checked by the department. After this, the beneficiary’s pension ID will be created on the 7th of next month. After this, the beneficiaries will have to go to the department office and get consent for the pension.
