Q1: What is Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana?
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana scheme is launched with the aim of providing financial assistance to the poor families for their daily expenses. 1. Online customers
You can apply online through the application form available on the website https://pmuy.gov.in or visit the nearest CSC centre for assistance in submitting the application. There is no fee for self-submission. However, a charge of ₹20 will be applicable if the application is submitted through CSC centres.
2.Offline customers can submit applications directly to the nearest LPG distributors of OMC.

In this scheme, gas connection is given in the name of a woman. A woman who belongs to a BPL list and does not have LPG connection in her family can get the benefit of this PMUY scheme. People living in river islands, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe families, Chai and Most Backward Class families are given priority to get gas connection under this scheme.
