What is Social Security Pension Scheme ?
Social Security Pension Scheme popularly known as Samajik Suraksha Yojana. It is a state sponsored initiative launched by the Government of India under National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP). The main objective of the scheme is to providing consistent and reliable financial assistance to most vulnerable section of the society. This includes Senior Citizen, PwBD and widows who have not any income source.

Eligibility Criteria of Social Security Pension Scheme
- To be eligible for the scheme, the candidates must be a Indian Citizens.
- Applicants must be belong to the Economically Weaker section category.
- Applicants mobile number must be linked with Aadhar card.
- Candidates should not be receiving any other pension of financial assistance of a similar nature from the central government, state government or any other pension.

How to apply for Social Security Pension Scheme
Online Application Process :
- Applicants must visit the official website of the scheme.
- Now you need to choose the appropriate social security pension scheme from the available options based on your eligibility and employment details.
- Provide your personal information on the application form (Name of the applicants/ Address/ Aadhar card/ voter card etc)
- Provide your savings bank account details for the pension payment and premium deduction.
- Verify your identity using Aadhar fingerprint.
- Check your application and submit it. you will get an acknowledgement and enrolment number.
- Your Contribution will be auto-debited every month until pension age.
Offline Application Process :
- Go to the nearest CSC or Gram Panchayat office to get the pension application form.
- Enter your personal details on the application form correctly. (Name of the applicants/ Address/ Aadhar card/ voter card etc)
- Attached all the scanned copied of documents along with the application form.
- Submit your application to the CSC Operator or panchayat official.
- Identity will be verified through Aadhar biometric.
- Upon successful verification you will receive an acknowledgment number to enable tracking your application status.
